Menopause is the natural cessation, or stopping, of a woman's menstrual cycle, and marks the end of fertility. Menopause is signalled by 12 months since last menstruation.

Diagnosis is done by examining the discharge under the microscope, the fungus / the trichomonas may be seen in the discharge.
